The threat to U.S. democratic processes and institutions from foreign malign influence is persistent and dynamic. The Foreign Malign Influence Center integrates analysis, manages the intelligence mission, nurtures partnerships, and provides comprehensive assessments and indications and warning of foreign malign influence. FMIC is responsible for organizing, prioritizing, and optimizing IC activities on foreign malign influence including election threats.
Duties
Participate in partnerships with foreign, military, federal, state, local, tribal, and/or private sector entities; participate in collaborative activities with these partners in accordance with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence's (ODNI) intelligence integration strategy.
Help plan, develop and communicate policies, guidelines, and procedures that support information sharing with partners outside the IC and help manage the relationships between partners on activities related to Election Security and Foreign Malign Influence.
Support and help lead efforts to develop, align, and synchronize relationships with foreign partners, coordinating among the Intelligence Community and within ODNI regarding these relationships.
Prepare background materials, talking points, and reports as required for Senior level engagements, coordinating efforts appropriately across the FMIC.
Proactively share information regarding partner activities and lessons learned, information sharing to support customer requirements including within the IC and non-IC partners.
Help plan, promote, and share information and knowledge within ODNI, across the IC, and with other government agencies, and in doing so, effectively recognize, value, build, and leverage diverse and collaborative networks within these organizations.
Qualifications
Experience with and knowledge of the Intelligence Community, intelligence policy, and intelligence operations.
Knowledge and experience in working with individual ODNI partners that may include foreign, military, federal, state, local, tribal entities, and/or private sector partners.
Ability to support senior leaders in an organization and work on behalf of a community of interest or the collective of an office.
Proficiency in leading or participating in interagency working groups and building coalitions with IC elements to achieve common goals.
Strong ability to accomplish tasks in a timely fashion and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively both independently, in small teams, and in a collaborative environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including experience drafting written reports of varying length and complexity, and to communicate effectively with audiences of varying seniority and expertise.
Experience corporately representing an organization in meetings with external counterparts and customers. Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects, to include time sensitive deliverables.
