Duties
This position is a GS-1811 position and requires the ability to carry a firearm and the appropriate criminal investigative training and experience.

Qualifications
GS-15: To qualify for this position at the GS-15 level, applicants must have 1 full year of specialized experience (equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the federal service) that demonstrates possession of specialized experience that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform the duties of this position. Specialized experience include serving as a senior Special Agent or Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge responsible for planning and conducting extensive and highly complex investigations; preparing clear and concise investigative reports; training others in investigative and administrative matters/procedures; coordinating case assignments and reviews; and preparing information for presentation to high-level agency officials as well as officials of other federal law enforcement agencies; experience which has equipped you with comprehensive knowledge of Federal statutes and regulations, including the Uniform Code of Military Justice (Title 10, US Code), rules of evidence, court decisions, constitutional rights, search and seizure, methods of interview and interrogation, admissibility of confessions and national security directives; experience in making contact, maintaining effective working relationships and gaining the confidence and cooperation of others.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

Selectee(s) for this position who are newly appointed to a permanent or term position may be eligible for student loan repayment up to $10,000 (pre-tax) for one calendar year. More than one loan may be repaid if the combined repayments do not exceed $10,000. Receipt of this incentive will require a three-year service agreement.
