Duties

Manages the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program for District including California, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Arizona, Wyoming and Colorado. Programs include MD715, affirmative action, the complaint adjudication, special emphasis, disability recruitment and reasonable accommodations. Manage the processing and disposition of all individual and class EEO Complaints. Ensure cooperation with EEO Counselors and EEO personnel in prompt processing/investigation and resolution of complaints. Determine the need for and initiates action to obtain adequate personnel, funds, and equipment to manage a viable, model EEO program.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes establishing, organizing, directing, and staffing an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office, advising management officials, on program requirements to include providing quality products, services, and direction on issues related to the administration and management of an EEO program and the impact of organization policies, plans, practices and decisions on personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
