This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, TRACEN Petaluma, Comptroller Division, Morale, Well-Being, and Recreation (MWR) Branch in Petaluma, CA.
Duties
You will serve as the Morale, Well-Being and Recreation (MWR) Director and be responsible for the administration, planning, supervision and direction of the MWR Program at U.S. Coast Guard Training Center in Petaluma, CA.

Qualifications
You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Some examples of specialized experience are:
-Assisting with planning, scheduling, and coordinating work operations.
-Assisting with managing concessions.
-Reviewing and interpreting government guidelines and trends for variety of complex subjects unique to the MWR function.
OR
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.
OR
LL.M., if related

-Reviewing and interpreting government guidelines and trends for variety of complex subjects unique to the MWR function.
-Assisting with developing and monitoring a MWR budget.
-Applying guidelines, standards and procedures for recreation planning elements of a complex, sensitive or multi-faceted nature.
