About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-WND299 US ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY CMD.

Duties

Serve as the Brigade Facility Manager, responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair and minor construction of facilities, utility systems, pavements, grounds, and fire detection systems. Manage the allocation of space and evaluate requirements based on organization size, type of mission, utilities/services required, and environmental considerations. Ensure compliance with governing Federal Acquisition Law, Army Procurement Policy, general Supply Policy and Purchase Card Program Policy. Monitor operation, supply reports, performance effectiveness, budget allowances, and program and equipment requirements. Conduct on-site visits in support of the Command Supply Discipline Program to subordinate activities for inspections and equipment surveys to include inventory management storage and distribution and supply cataloging and assistance. Responsible for property accountability, acquisition, receiving, distribution, storage, utilization/reutilization, maintenance, disposal and transportation.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance based on SBI and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) travel may be required at 40% or less of the time.
