The incumbent serves as a procurement clerk/accounting clerk in the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Office and reports to the Chairperson of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Committee. The Shipyard's MWR Program promotes the morale, welfare and well-being of all employees of the activity. The incumbent serves as the liaison for MWR contracts between food service and vending contracted operations.
Duties
Serves as the Contracting Officer Technical Representative for all Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard MWR contracts. Provides clerical and technical support to contracting personnel by preparing, controlling and reviewing procurement documents and reports and verifying or abstracting information contained in documents and reports to ensure terms of contract are being followed.

- Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National

Qualifications
A minimum of one-year experience in responsible support working purchasing or in a related clerical field. Knowledge of basic mathematics. Must be able to apply basic accounting clerical, methods, and techniques. Must be skilled in the use of various accounting machines, such as adding machine, calculators, etc., have a general knowledge of office practices and procedures as they relate to financial data of records and have legible handwriting. Experience in the use of personal computers is required. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and relationship with others. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Must meet Federal employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
