You will serve as a Emergency Management Specialist (RTF Training Coordinator) in the Emergency Management Division of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.
Duties
You will coordinate training for emergency management teams and special units to maintain emergency readiness.
You will conduct emergency drills or exercises to evaluate an organization's level of preparedness.
You will brief management on findings, recommendations, or issues associated with emergency management training, exercises, and events.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying federal, state, and local rules and regulations regarding nuclear weapon accident response to an emergency response plan; 2) Developing training plans and exercises regarding response to an array of events (i.e. nuclear weapons incidents, chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high yield explosive (CBRNE) threats, terrorist threats, etc.); 3) Conducting administrative and operational performance assessments of training programs to assess effectiveness; 4) Analyzing training exercises to develop recommendations for improvements. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
I have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
I have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
I have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
