Duties
Designated as one of the Suitability Adjudicator for Marine Corps NAF positions. May be required to perform the adjudication, recommendation of adjudicative determinations. Reviews investigations and referrals containing suitability issues. Reviews background investigations to ensure compliance with agency submission requirements. Provide advice over the most sensitive and controversial suitability matters to applicants, employees, and organization personnel. Review and evaluate cases involving potential suitability disqualification based on fraud. Review and evaluate cases for indicators to identify potential future problems and provide written justification to support decisions involving complex adjudicative concepts.

Qualifications
Four years of specific experience that provides an in-depth knowledge of laws, policies, regulations and procedures related to personnel security, suitability adjudication or related field. Education may be substituted for experience. Knowledge of laws, regulations and an understanding of Marine Corps Community Services organizations missions and programs. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required. This position is designated as a Position of Trust, and the incumbent must be suitable for employment and eligible for a background check. The incumbent must obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance to complete assigned duties that require access to classified information. An active clearance is preferred.NOTE: This position is identified as a Test Designated Position (TDP). The incumbent is subject to random drug testing because duties must be performed with a high level of productivity, reliability and judgment to prevent adversely affecting personnel safety, and causing risk/damage to government property, and/or significant adverse impact to day-to-day operations.
