This National Guard position is for a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST (Title 5), Position Description Number T5801900 and is part of the 151 LRS located in SLC UT, with the Utah Air National Guard. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training involving administration of supply management, storage, cataloging, packaging and distribution or other work which provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months experience which includes: maintaining data in automated property management systems; utilizing supply regulations in inventory control and management; monitoring usage transactions to track the procurement, storage, and disposition of equipment and property; and developing and/or recommending new or revised policies related to stock control issues. Analyzing analysis, evaluation, fact-finding, and investigative techniques in order to gather data, identify significant factors related to Supply Management. Assisting with performing reviews involving evaluating, advising on, and improving the effectiveness of a broad range of customer service logistics/supply support program. or education - see below.

Education

Substitute for specialized experience -

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Logistics Management, Supply Program Management or Inventory Management.
