This National Guard position is for a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST (Title 5), Position Description Number T5801900 and is part of the 151 LRS located in SLC UT, with the Utah Air National Guard.
Priority will be given to all current, onboard employees of the UTANG.

Qualifications

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Experience, education or training involving administration of supply management, storage, cataloging, packaging and distribution or other work which provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least 24 months experience which includes: maintaining data in automated property management systems; utilizing supply regulations in inventory control and management; monitoring usage transactions to track the procurement, storage, and disposition of equipment and property; and developing and/or recommending new or revised policies related to stock control issues. Analyzing analysis, evaluation, fact-finding, and investigative techniques in order to gather data, identify significant factors related to Supply Management. Assisting with performing reviews involving evaluating, advising on, and improving the effectiveness of a broad range of customer service logistics/supply support program.

Education
Substitute for specialized experience -
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Logistics Management, Supply Program Management or Inventory Management.
