You will serve as a RECREATION ASSISTANT in the MARINE CORPS COMMUNITY SERVICES of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO.
Duties
You will assist the sports specialist supporting the intramural athletics program, of Semper Fit, Marine Corps Community Services Division.
You will assist with providing instruction to participants, individually or in clinics, in techniques and rules of play for individual and/ or team sports.
You will assist in coordinating matches or tournaments and arranges for such events.
You will issue supplies and equipment to patrons and ensures that they are returned in usable conditions.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: organizing recreational activities, overseeing storage or inventory of recreational supplies and equipment, and training and assisting activity participants.

Education
Qualifying experience in lieu of experience:
Successful completion of a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with major study or at least 24 semester hours in courses related to recreation or physical education.

Combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
