About the Position: This position is located within the U.S Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District, Real Estate Division, Acquisition Branch. You will serve as a team leader responsible for the management, administration, and direction of the programs and activities in Real Estate Division for the Flood Proofing Program.
Duties
Prepares and maintains documentation and reports to include Post-Authorization Change Reports, Project Modification Reports, contractual agreements and cost-sharing.
Examines documents and directives authorizing a study work plan.
Participates in Issue Resolution Conferences which summarizes the results of studies conducted.
Ensures proper input and coordination as various phases of project studies progress.
Prepares budget data, schedules, and progress reports, milestone reports, etc. for assigned projects.
Implements the Flood Proofing Program in approved nonstructural projects that are multi-year and range in value from $10 to $20 million/year.
As team lead, ensures that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, and work plans.
Plans and coordinates project requirements with customers and plans priorities of the work to be accomplished.
Develop and execute realistic acquisition plans that incorporate risk management analysis with project schedules.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes applying real estate principles, regulations, practices and techniques to acquisitions, negotiations, and flood proofing management; implementing regulations, laws and establish district policies; overseeing the management and administration of completing complex real estate activities, and directing these Real Estate programs as well as the Flood Proofing Program.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
