This National Guard position is for a HR SPEC(MILITARY) (Title 32), Position Description Number D1622000 and is part of the 151st FSS located in Salt Lake City, with the Utah Air National Guard. This vacancy is RESTRICTED to current military members of the Utah Air National Guard. MAX MILITARY GRADE E-7 The selecting supervisor for this vacancy is SMSGT PHILLIP W. FLEURY. Major Duties: This is not an all-inclusive list As a HR SPEC(MILITARY) (Title 32), GS-0201-7/9, you will: The primary purpose is to administer and accomplish functions of one or more of the following human resources programs: Career Enhancements, Customer Service, Employments, Relocations, and/or Readiness.

BASIC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Skilled in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; Ability to clearly enunciate English without impediment of speech that would interfere or prohibit efficient communication; Ability to write English in reports and presentation formats; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; Skilled in presenting formal training presentations and briefings; Ability to assess body language and perceive emotional and/or distress levels; and, Skilled in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material. Specialized Experience GS 7: Have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-0201-06 level? (Must submit SF 50 to valdiate claim) OR at least 12 months of public experience working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and personnel programs. Must have a basic knowledge and experiences of personnel programs gained in a classroom or as an on-the-job trainee. Have knowledge-based competency of human resources business elements and can discuss terminology, concepts, principles, and issues related to this competency. Experienced in using references and resource materials and experienced in program functions such as, maintaining personnel records, counseling, or classification and assignments. Experiences may include performing personnel functions associated with preparing and maintaining position descriptions and manual records, personnel classification or usage, quality force management, managing personnel records and researching record data. Experienced in operating a computer and using varied computer programs. Specialized Experience: Have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-0201-07 level. OR at least 24 months of public experience working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and personnel programs. Must have a basic knowledge and experiences of personnel programs gained in a classroom or as an on-the-job trainee. Have knowledge-based competency of human resources business elements and can discuss terminology, concepts, principles, and issues related to this competency. Experienced in using references and resource materials and experienced in program functions such as, maintaining personnel records, counseling, or classification and assignments. Education

Army National Guard and Air National Guard Enlisted GS-09 through GS-12 Positions Must have a high school diploma or a general education development (GED) diploma.

An undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is optimum.
