About the Position: Serves as Program Services Specialist with responsibility for providing advice and assistance in planning, managing, directing and coordinating plans and programs within the United States Army Ordnance School. Provides continuity required for the overall coordination and execution of mission essential tasks within the United States Army Ordnance School.

Duties

Produce accurate advice to the organization's management team on matters necessary to implement established policies. Alleviate potential problems utilizing a comprehensive knowledge of mission operations. Develop performance requirements summaries for submission to the appropriate contracting office. Provide guidance to all Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for all functions within the organization. Coordinate with management to ensure all Program Objective Memorandum's (POM) are complete. Conduct studies in the areas such as contract performance workload, cost comparison, performance work statements, or productivity maintenance.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
