This National Guard position is for a ARTILLERY REPAIRER (Title 32), Position Description Number D1224000 and is part of the Combined Support Maintenance Shop located in Draper, with the Utah Army National Guard. IAW UTNGR 690-12 dated AUG 2022 and LIUNA-UTARNG CBA dated 11 OCT 2022, Priority will be given to all current, onboard employees of the UTNG. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic system operations. Experience demonstrating the ability to fit and adjust parts and assemblies. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 18 months of specialized experience demonstrating a broad knowledge in repairing, rebuilding, modifying and testing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and major components of artillery systems. Experience in diagnosing malfunctions and determining needed repairs in artillery systems. Experience demonstrating the ability to inspect artillery systems. Experience which demonstrates the ability to develop test standards. Experience interpreting and applying drawings, schematics, blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
