This position is located in Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Management Services Service Unit, Financial Services Directorate, Budget Analysis & Formulation Group, Payroll Analysis Team, (AJG-R38). This group provides a wide array of critical business, financial and contracts support services for the ATO. Review the Ops and F&E Pay requirements, provide strategic budget recommendations and manage allowance distribution.

Duties

The Management and Program Analyst uses skill applying qualitative and quantitative methods and techniques to forecast and estimate payroll and staffing requirements for a designated ATO Service Unit (SU) or appropriation. Applies knowledge of financial management principles in performing multiple, varying and complex assignments and in the analysis and interpretation of the impact of transactions on financial resources or appropriations. Assignments are performed under the minimal direction of the Team Manager or more experienced professional. This work directly impacts the objectives of the ATO.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H, FG/GS-12 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized Experience is defined as:Experience identifying and analyzing problems and recommending improvements to systems and processes.Experience using automated tools and financial systems to create graphics and charts used to study and analyze trends and attrition data.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
