There are two Maintenance Worker Supervisor Career/Career-Conditional Full-time appointment(s).
One position is located in Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park in the Maintenance Division.
One position is located in Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park in the Maintenance Division.
Duties
Formulate and approve work schedules, write position descriptions, establish performance standards, schedule and approve leave, counsel employees on work habits and initiates disciplinary action as necessary
Responsible for on-the-job safety and health of all subordinates identifying and correcting job safety and health hazards
Coordinate, plan, and oversee cyclic, line construction, repair/rehab, and contract programs
Develops plans for maintenance and repair of all equipment and vehicles owned/assigned to area of responsibility
Prepare requisitions for supplies, materials, equipment, and services to include Scope of Work and Work Statements to be used for quotes, invitations for bid proposals as well as regular purchases
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability to do work of a Maintenance Worker Supervisor without more than normal supervision.
Ability to Lead or Supervise (SCREEN OUT)
Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprints reading)
Ability to Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation Repair, etc.
Knowledge of materials
Technical Practices (theoretical precise, artistic)
Use of Measuring Instruments
