About the Position:
Incumbent will serve as a Sexual Harassment/Assault Prevention (SHARP) Program Support Services Specialist, responsible for planning and coordinating a variety of service functions that are principally work-supporting.
Duties
Serves as Sexual Harassment/Assault Prevention (SHARP) Program Support Services Specialist.
Plans and coordinates a variety of service functions that are principally work-supporting.
Prioritizes administrative issues based on unit's overall mission.
Develops, implements, and maintains administrative practices to comply with guidance to create efficient and effective organizational business practices.
Schedules/reschedules appointments, meetings, briefings, conferences, social events and other engagements with senior-level U.S., foreign national government officials, and private sector equivalents.
Maintains senior leadership personnel profiles and ensure accurate and timely submission of actionable items.
Manages and reviews the SHARP Program's standard office configurations, i.e., workspace for visitors, conference room requirements, appropriate office furniture, etc.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- TDY (Travel) may be required up to 25% of the time for this position.
- Background checks against all records required by law, Office of Personnel Management, DoD, and Army policy or regulation will be conducted prior to entering on duty in the position.
- In accordance with governing regulations, additional checks will be performed on a recurring basis while employed in the position.
- Minimum of a favorable suitability determination on a Tier 3 background investigation.
- Incumbents in these positions are required to self-report civilian arrests, the filing of criminal charges, and/or convictions of any criminal offense to their supervisors and security office.
- Must attend and graduate from required SHARP training courses within six months of employment.
- While waiting for training or completion of certification, the employee may be reassigned or detailed to a position that meets the employee's qualifications and skills.
- The detail or reassignment will be without promotion or demotion and will be until the DoD Sexual Assault Advocate Certificate is provided.
- Must maintain an active D-SAACP certification and up-to-date commander appointment orders prior to having any victim contact or access to victim information.
- In the event that D-SAACP certification expires or is revoked, the individual is not authorized to serve in any SHARP position or perform SHARP duties until D-SAACP certification is reinstated.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to operate a motor vehicle should the need arise to operate a government vehicle/motor pool vehicle.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.

Experience Required:
To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, such as: (1) communicating administrative policy, goal, mission, or philosophy regarding Sexual Harassment/Assault Prevention Program - related prevention activities (i.e. domestic violence, rape crisis, social work services, etc.); (2) supporting the program's Sexual Harassment/Assault Prevention organizational activities for business process management or cost management; and (3) providing support services such as report management, personnel management, records management, travel coordinator, event coordinator, supply management, calendar management, etc.
