Duties

You will Receives, reviews, and monitors incoming requisitions and takes appropriate action to ensure completion. You will respond to due-in, load schedule/plan, vessel allowances, Foreign Military Sales (FMS}, renovation, rework, assembly/disassembly, researching and coordinating corrections as needed to ensure appropriate financial data is applied. You will analyze, plan, and coordinate layouts of warehouses, sheds, magazines and outside storage areas on basis of type material and characteristics. You will be responsible for producing the yearly physical inventory schedule of locations requiring annual/semi-annual counts.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of physical security regulations pertaining to Arms, Ammunition and Explosives (AA&E) in addition to movement, storage, and associated documentation; 2) Utilizing computer, Microsoft office, written and verbal communication skills to compile reports concerning space utilization, storage compatibility, space availability, magazine and conveyance data, security, and statistics on inventory line items; 3) Analyzing general ordnance stock levels to determine overages or shortages; 4) Identifying, reporting, verifying, and correcting discrepancies; and 5) Performing inventory reconciliation and trend analysis. Education

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR

OR
