About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Research and Development Center (ERDC), CONSTRUCTION ENG RESEARCH LAB, MANAGEMENT INTEGRATION OFFICE.

Duties

Order supplies for organization. Run reports and send reminders as necessary various budgetary areas such as: Project Orders, 2363, Customer Orders etc. Perform timekeeping functions for the team. Assist Budget Analysts with data calls and daily work. Maintain property records and assists in inventories. Set up project files for all incoming projects. Adjust resourcing as necessary to execute needed project. Serve as Government credit card holder. Prepare purchase requests and commitments, such as: labor, in-house, flat rate burden, contractual. Enter and/or retrieve financial data into automated systems such as: (CEFMS, EXCEL, SharePoint, Microsoft Office and various other automation) Receive and/or invoice contracted goods and services for reconciliation

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Preparing spreadsheets, reports and/or charts for budgets; Assisting with budget analysis using various computer programs; and Operating budget estimates in a financial management system. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service DK-02 (GS-05). OR Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Finance, Accounting or Business Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: AdaptabilityApplies Technology to TasksManages and Organizes InformationTeamworkTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
