You will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager in the Mission Support Division, Code 120000 of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
Duties
You will define, lead, and manage an overall administrative or technical program area which includes a range of complex functional areas.
You will develop, implement, and administer NRL policies, programs, and system processes..
You will work at a senior executive level to understand political, fiscal, and other factors affecting customer and program needs.
You will generate strategic objectives/plans for development/implementation/ marketing of broadly-based programs and services to meet Lab-wide needs.
You will independently plan, design, and carry out programs, projects, and studies, etc.... such that overall program objectives are met.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band (NO-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following: 1. Developing, implementing, and administering policies, programs, and system processes for all security, safety, and intelligence oversite functions; 2. Assessing long-range organizational requirements and formulating interim/ long-range goals for security and safety programs; 3. Exercising final reviews and authority for a number of security areas; 4. Establishing operating policies, initiating special programs research projects and estimating budgetary needs.
