This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and Major Range and Test Facilities Base, NDAA 1125 (a) and (c).
About the Position: Serves as Administrative Support and personal assistant to the Directorate by performing a wide variety of administrative duties in connection with the management of this office.
Duties
Receives and screens call and visitors for the Director and forwards only those which require his attention.
Reviews incoming correspondence to determine proper routing, segregates, and distributes to appropriate individual or division.
Maintains the conference room schedule for staff meetings and training sessions.
Provides assistance or procedural guidance to the Directorate and supervisors on recurring issues pertaining to personnel and positions such as awards, recruitment, performance appraisals, position descriptions, etc.
Maintains familiarity with pertinent guidance and notifies supervisor of changes or new requirements.
Manages and maintains office files according to ARIMS filing system.
Keep updated key authorization lists removing and adding employees as needed.
Resolve any timekeeping errors or concerns that arise during timekeeping functions and act as backup certifier for the Directorate.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying regulations or organizational policies related to recurring personnel actions, travel arrangements and/or processing; and providing administrative guidance through official correspondence. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
