About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate for Quality and Safety at William Beaumont Army Medical Center at El Paso, TX.

Duties

Conduct events such as workshops, seminars, training, briefings and other meetings to explain access to health care services and customer service. Formulate official response to written and telephonic request for program information, ensuring research is complete, data is accurate and regulatory. Interpret hospital guidance, mission and or policies to present the patients? needs and/or opinions to appropriate staff and management. Identify problem areas to suggest solutions or alternatives to existing procedures in regards to patient experience. Assist patients in the resolution of their concerns and navigating the healthcare system. Technically oversee and provide guidance on procedures and assignments to lower graded positions within the organization.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Management, Healthcare Education, or Public Health. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
