About the Position: This position is located at HQ, TRADOC, Fort Eustis, VA. Fort Eustis, Virginia is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Local Transportation via the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) bus service to the surrounding area which includes Hampton, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, York County, Gloucester, Suffolk, and Smithfield.

Duties

Plan, research, develop, analyze and promote activities in support of TRADOC, DOD and DA command information initiatives. Serve as TRADOC Public Website/social media Content Manager, coordinating and assessing command corporate content and major themes on TRADOC platforms and its links. Write informational materials designed to reach internal audiences through media such as news releases, fact sheets, brochures, booklets, pamphlets and radio, web, social media or television spot scripts. Use formal and informal research and marketing techniques and strategies to plan, develop and coordinate production of information materials to support TRADOC, DOD and DA command information initiatives.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
