This position supports critical areas within the Financial Management Department (FMD), serves as a consultant and resource, and is directly involved with Division Administrators (DA) and Sponsored Programs & Subcontracts Department (SPS) in areas of procurement and sponsored research. Builds and maintains service-oriented relationships to provide a full range of advisory services to all levels of the Observatory program and administrative management objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the Grade 09 which should demonstrate providing advice and assistance regarding spending and financial activity for a research and development company or federal activity; monitoring expenditures to assure compliance with budgeting limits, funding requirements, and company/agency policies and procedures.
OR
Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or completion of all requirements for an LL.M degree from an accredited college or university.ORCombination of Experience and Education
