Duties

Come be a part of the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) as a Guardian in the Advanced Programs Branch (SSC/SZAI). Space Domain Awareness (SDA) is the capability to detect, track, identify and characterize space objects and the space environment to identify risks and threats affecting space systems such as satellites, DoD capabilities, and the International Space Station. The Future Systems Program Manager (PM) serves as the Branch's lead developer of space-based systems for next-generation SDA capability. The Branch is a 25-member government and contractor team with an annual budget of $250M. The Futures Systems PM supports the Branch Materiel Leader directing major program and system acquisitions and addresses multiple, frequent General Officer/Senior Executive Service level and Congressional inquiries for program status and planning of future capabilities. The Future Systems PM interfaces with USSF, DoD, and USG Agencies with regards to SDA activities/assets.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
• May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
• May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
• Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
• This position is not eligible for telework.
• PCS/Incentive funding is available.
