This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the STRL Mission Support direct hire authority. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

You will maintain a close knowledge of the manager's and his/her Section Heads? policies and viewpoints along with a working knowledge of the organization's technical programs. You will provide continuity of office operations along with performing Office Manager type duties, the assistant performs specialized tasks as specified by the supervisor. You will support a small organizational Division, which is a complex organization having numerous groups and both line and staff support, and headed by subordinate supervisors and managers.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DG-02 (GS-5/6) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Performs troubleshooting and fact-finding tasks in support of Business/Program Management personnel in the area of specialization. 2. Perform account payable records maintenance requiring the knowledge of Navy and DOD accounting and financial regulations and procedures. 3. Examines vouchers and identify routine errors, develop solutions and perform appropriate corrective action ensuring the integrity of both paper and electronic accounting records is maintained at all times. 4. Provides support on additional assignments as directed in support of senior Technicians, Analysts, covering a variety of Commercial Accounts functions or issues.
