You will serve as a INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT REPAIRER (BOILER) in the PRODUCTION DIVISION of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.

Duties

You will examine equipment or machine components for excessive wear and make replacements as required. You will inspect equipment and systems in accordance with established schedules assuring proper lubrication and operation of equipment and systems. You will order parts and materials for equipment and systems using specifications and OEM manuals to assure safe and efficient operation. You will check control gauges, valves, timers, switches, etc. to assure safe and efficient operation of components. You will install new equipment following manufacturer's manuals and make adjustments to assure proper operation of the unit. You will utilize safety practices, procedures, and follow established safety rules and regulations. You will maintain a safe and clean work environment. You will provide information or recommendations to supervisors and activities for resolving equipment operation and maintenance problems.

• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
