This job opportunity is for a Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic Leader position, position description D2285P01, within the 108 MAI SQ of the New Jersey Air National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position. The primary purpose of this position is to lead three or more employees who install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes.

General Experience Must have the following experience(s): Working as an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic Leading Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanics Specialized Experience Must have 24 months of the following experience(s): Utilizing principles, basic functions and application of theory of electronic integrated systems equipment Diagnosing problems and determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic integrated systems equipment Making mechanical repairs that required the use of precision measuring and calibrating equipment Using a wide variety of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) Interpreting technical manuals, specifications, and publications. In addition to the experience above, you must have the following experience(s) as well: Planning, organizing, and leading the work of others in fields directly related the repair function of an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic. Performing administrative functions to include reading and interpreting a variety of technical publications used in the repair of supported equipment Providing guidance to others in work relating to Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanics
