Duties

Knowledge of automated supply databases to enter and retrieve recurring reports. Knowledge of receiving operations, systems, programs procedures and guidelines. Ability to answer recurring inquiries regarding the status of requisitions, delivery of material, and other questions received from internal customers. Knowledge of receiving procedures and regulations to check appropriate computer listings, item histories, procurement documents, shipment invoices, or other available records or files. Create documents using various software applications

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is Required.
  • Selectee must pass a drug test prior to appointment.
  • Males born after 12/03/59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Selectee may be required to serve a one year probationary period.
  • Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Non-sensitive, Low risk clearance.
  • Selectee must successfully pass pre-employment prior to appointment.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Supply Technician, PG -2005-6, you must meet the following requirements: To qualify for the Supply Technician, PG-06, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the PG-05 grade level in the Federal Service that includes: performing generaly supply, inventory procurement functions, preparing reports summarizing information and data; indentifying and working to resolve discrepancies and inconsistencies. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement(09/13/2023) to be considered.

Education

Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
