The Incumbent services as the personal secretary to the Associate Director. The Incumbent services as the principal office clerical or administrative support position to the head of the organizational unit by assisting the supervisor, and in some cases, the subordinate staff of that individual.
Duties
Major Duties Include:
Route incoming Telephone Calls and mail for Associate Director of Patient Care Services
Monitor and Maintain Associate Director Meeting/Appointment Calendar Associate Director of Patient Care Services
Triage incoming request for Appointments/meetings with Associate Director of Patient Care Services and re-routing them to other Points of Contact as applicable, scheduling with ADPCS as needed
Assist with Arranging Travel for Patient Care Services Executive Team
Draft Standard Operating Procedures with all end users feedback before submitting for final signature from Associate Director of Patient Care Services
Order office supplies and equipment for Service line of ADPCS
Timekeeping for Chief Nurses and back up timekeeper for units.
Tracking Action Items, PATS-R, White house complaints, Joint Commission Surveys for Associate Director and follow up with POC's for completion
Provide QA/QC on all documents requesting Associate Director of Patient Care Services signature
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 09/07/2023.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-8 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-7. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment.
You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-7 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:

Physical Requirements: This work is primarily sedentary. Work requires some standing, walking, bending, and carrying light items such as books, folders, papers, etc.
