About the position: This position will be assigned to the Roadrunner Inn, Kirtland AFB, NM.
This position will be filled as a Regular Part Time employment category. Regular Part Time is guaranteed 20 hours/week and may be eligible for benefits such as Medical/Dental, Group Life, 401(k), and AFNAF Retirement.
Tour of duty for this position may include weekends, holidays, and varying hours. Schedule flexibility of incumbent is highly desired.
Duties
Operates a variety of motor vehicles including pickup trucks, panel trucks, flatbed trucks, carryalls, sedans, crew cab pickup trucks, jeeps and station wagons that weigh up to 10,000 pounds, for transport of personnel, supplies, materials, or equipment and tools throughout the installation.
Performs operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels, air pressure in tires, cleaning and washing vehicles. Loads or assists in loading, unloading, and arranging cargo. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a Tier 1 (T1) background investigation with favorable results.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical and lift-test.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver?s license.
- This is a drug-testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Must have skill in maneuvering and driving vehicles weighing up to 10,000 pounds.
Must be able to load and arrange cargo.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must be physically able to frequently handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls.
Position will require driving in various weather conditions
Self-starter and highly motivated individuals strongly desired

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
