You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN at NROTC UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

Duties

You will update automated databases to reflect proof of shipments, proof of deliveries, and payment of invoices. You will advise personnel on supply transaction submissions. You will coordinate inventory management requirements for supplies and equipment. Coordinate actions with production or other supply units to obtain material status information or expedite deliveries.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques and methods to maintain materials and supplies; 2) Maintaining automated supply systems/programs in accordance with procedures; 3) Tracking supply budget and reporting to verify available funding for the procurement of supplies; and 4) Practicing the execution of property management procedures and material control.
