Duties
You will be responsible for Cyber capabilities for Fleet Marine Forces, the candidate will analyze and evaluate (on a quantitative or qualitative
basis) the effectiveness of Marine or Navy enterprise networks programs.
You will develop life cycle cost analyses of projects or perform cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs.
You will identify and recommend resources (staff, funding, equipment, of facilities) required to support varied levels of those program operations, aide in the analysis and evaluation of agency functions.
You will analyze management information requirements for the operation of defense of hosted information systems and services.
You will identify and develop the data required for use in the management and direction of cybersecurity programs and develop management and/or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 752 Intermediate Level within 6 months of appointment.
- Generally, current Federal employees applying to STRL jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume. (
Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band NO-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience: Apply knowledge of and experience with the creation, evaluation and management of IT service contracts. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
NO:05:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band NO-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience: Act as a subject matter expert with regards to analyzing and evaluating contract operations and overall IT contract strategy of the command. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
