You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR I in the PRODUCTION DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will plan, coordinate and follow the progress of site transportation equipment operations work, which includes the operation of engineering and construction equipment, motor vehicles and asphalt work. You will consult with planning personnel regarding funds and with customers and other supervisors to coordinate work. You will answer questions on procedures, policies, written instructions and directives, work orders, and job orders, providing information and decisions on any problems that arise. You will supervise the maintenance, repair and overhaul of a variety of automotive vehicles, including passenger cars, pickup trucks, buses, forklifts, light combat vehicles, including their gasoline, diesel and electric powered engines and systems. You will determine the workers, equipment, facilities and materials needed to accomplish specific projects, establish deadlines and priorities, and plan daily or monthly schedules and sequence of work operations.
