About the Position: This position is located in the Madigan Army Medical Center Office of ER & R Hospital Education/Training, Tacoma, Washington. Tacoma is located on the shores of Commencement Bay, within pristine eyesight of Mount Rainier. World-class museums, hotels and theaters draw thousands to downtown Tacoma while the shores of the Puget Sound and Mount Rainier inspire outdoor enthusiasts. Salary negotiation MAY BE available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

Participate in planning, directing, implementing, and analyzing HESD onboarding training program. Conduct surveys, assessments, studies, and analyses to identify educational needs. Maintain education and training records for civilian and military personnel. Assist with the in-processing of new personnel. Assist with the creation of new course trainings. Perform full range of circulation duties.

Requirements

  • Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
  • Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
  • This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
  • A personnel security investigation is required.
