Duties
Serve as a Program Integrator for one of the major portfolios (Maneuver, Aviation, Protection, Logistics, Mission Command, or Fires/Air - Missile Defense) for the U.S. Army Futures Command, Directorate of Operations, Plans, and Training (G3/5/7).
Provide oversight for assigned Modernization efforts.
Review and conduct analysis of modernization program accomplishments through analysis of programmatic reports and program plans.
Direct the preparation of cost estimates and analysis, economic analysis and other studies.
Advise the Director for Systems Integration on whether resources programmed are an effective use of resources and consistent with Army Modernization Plans.
Prepare necessary documentation to justify all recommended resource reductions and enhancements.
Analyze Program Decision Memorandum (PDM) and Program Budget Decisions (PBDs) received to determine impact on logistics programs.
Represent assigned Modernization issues during the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) build process.
Requirements

Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Managing operational and/or technical portfolios; 2) Making recommendations concerning assigned portfolio investments; 3) Briefing senior leadership on proposed modernization initiatives; AND 4) Operational and/or technical experience in Infantry Operations and/or Special Operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
