This is a public notice flyer to notify applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base in the DoD. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer.

Duties

You will receive, review, and monitor incoming requisitions and take appropriate action to ensure completion. You will ensure proper documentation is released to the proper division in a timely manner. You will ensure appropriate financial data is applied. You will provide detailed technical advice and assistance in areas of specialized ordnance management to support the Fleet, Navy Region Southwest, and other customers.

Requirements

• This is a bargaining unit position.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Basic familiarity with ordnance inventory systems and requirements; (2) Ability to understand complex instructions and perform the required tasks; and (3) Working with and advising multiple agencies on a daily basis. GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Providing detailed technical advice and assistance in areas of specialized ordnance management; (2) Ability to understand complex instructions and perform the required tasks; (3) Performing analytical research for special projects and reports, such as resolving reporting and in-transit discrepancies; and (4) Working with and advising multiple agencies on a daily basis. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

GS-07 Level:
Successful completion of 1 full year of graduate level education
OR
Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

GS-09 Level:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D., that is related to this position being filled.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
