THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for an ELECTRONICS EQUIPMENT REPAIRER INSPECTOR - TITLE 32, Position Description Number D1207000 and is part of the KY CSMS, National Guard.

Duties

As an ELECTRONICS EQUIPMENT REPAIRER INSPECTOR - TITLE 32, WG-2604-12, you will use a variety of inspection techniques to inspect electronic systems. Conduct inspections, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and perform required maintenance of various types of tactical computers, radio sets, etc. Use various types of test equipment on equipment and components. Inspect equipment when received to determine repairs needed and parts required. Prepare lists of needed repairs, parts, and man-hours authorized. Perform in-process and final inspections on equipment being repaired. Serve as inspector on Command Maintenance Evaluation Teams (COMET) and/or as a member of Maintenance Assistance and Instruction Teams (MAIT). Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Experience which demonstrates knowledge of equipment to be able to do routine jobs, simple preventative maintenance tasks, and is able to use common tools and equipment in the line of work. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 18 months experience utilizing principles, basic functions and application of theory of electronic systems or equipment. Experience in diagnosing problems and determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic equipment or systems. Experience in making mechanical repairs that required the use of precision measuring and calibrating equipment. Experience in using complex test equipment such as deviation meters, complex special test panels, etc. Experience which demonstrates the ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications, and publications. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates (Example 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981 or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981), work schedule, and hours worked per week of employment.
