Serves as the Team Manager for the ATO AJV Service Center, Resource Management Group, Management and Administration Support Team.

Duties

Manages, directs, and evaluates multiple projects, programs, and activities that support the organization's goals and objectives. Gathers and analyzes data and provides recommendations concerning broad and often complex projects, programs, and issues involving internal management systems and functional assignments. Manages the work of a large organization with support to multiple Service Units. Integrates work of various Service Units to meet the organization's strategic goals, participates in strategic planning for the FAA, and makes commitments for ATO.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • This position may be extended, terminated or made permanent without further competition.
  • A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required.
  • Some, all, or none of the candidates may be interviewed.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-K you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-J, FG/GS 14 level of experience. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is described as:Specialized experience: Managing, directing, and evaluating multiple projects and programs; gathering and analyzing data and providing recommendations; responding to administrative programs such as EEO and Accountability Board complaints, FAA Administrator Hotlines, Congressional inquiries, Freedom of Information Act requests; researching, preparing and presenting reports and briefings; providing advice and guidance both internally and externally on diverse issues; and making recommendations or implements decisions.
