The incumbent of this position serves as Custodial Worker Leader performs leader work requiring knowledge and application of specialized cleaning procedures within the hospital. This position is located in the Environmental Services Department at the Parker Indian Health Center, Parker, AZ. This position reports the Custodial Worker Supervisor.

Duties

Passes on to workers instructions received from the supervisor. Train new personnel in cleaning methods and infection control procedures. Performs specialized cleaning procedures and adheres to Infection Control Policies and Procedures. Scrubs, strips, applies floor finish, polishes floors, dusts, washes walls, windows, vacuums, shampoo rugs using heavy commercial type cleaning equipment. Operates one or more motor vehicles to transport cargo or passengers. Performs operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and air pressure in tires.
