Reclamation is seeking a tradesworker looking for a seasonal opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Laborer. Make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment.
Duty Location: Lower Colorado Basin Region, Lower Colorado Dams Office, Parker Dam Field division located in Parker Dam, CA.
This is a Career-Seasonal position; typical season is between September and April.
Duties
Responsible for the neat appearance of the powerplant, parking areas, roadways on the dam and other areas within the project.
Responsible for keeping all restrooms cleaned. Cleans, mops and buffs all floors. Keeps walls, windows, stairs, handrails and doors clean. Maintains a neat and clean appearance in all office spaces - empties trash, vaccums.
Performs labor work in support of journeymen. Includes fetching and loading/unloading tools, supplies and equipment and cleaning up the work area before and after the work is performed.
Supports generator annual maintenance with cleaning and assisting journeymen.
Operates various electric and air tools.
Resposible for observing work areas and ensuring safety hazards or conditions are identified and mitigated.
