The incumbent will serve as the Grants Technical Assistant performing office/grants support to the Grants Management Division.

Duties
As a member of the Grants Management Division, the incumbent serves as the Grants Technical Assistant performing office/grants support to the Grants Management Division. Includes pre and post award reviews, obtaining clearances, retrieving, distributing, and preparing grants and cooperative agreements documents, and maintaining the Grants Management Files up to date. Requires knowledge of grants policies, procedures, and practices.
Requirements

- Merit applicants must meet time-in-grade/band requirements, as applicable
- Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.

Qualifications
Applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at the GS-04 level (ZS-II at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience providing a variety of technical and administrative support activities utilizing automated electronic and computer systems.
OR
4 years above high school
OR
Combination of education and experience which is equivalent to the one year of specialized experience. (NOTE: only education in excess of 2 years or 60 semester hours is creditable towards meeting the specialized experience requirement)
In addition, applicants must be able to type 40 words per minute.
