Duties
Coordinates and provides a wide variety of responsible administrative functions in support of upper-level management requiring a substantial level of judgment, experience, and discretion. Screens calls and visitors, personally handles the majority of requests for information, and refers others as appropriate. Handles matters and situation of a confidential and sensitive nature. Assists with receiving, maintaining, and distributing all incoming directives and instructions (i.e., Marine Corps/MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN Orders and Bulletins, SecNav/OpNav Instructions, etc.). Responsible for proofing all MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN Orders and Bulletins originated by MCCS divisions for grammatical, spelling, and format errors. Proofs, distributes, and maintains master files of MCCS Standard Operating Procedures. Establishes suspense dates to collect responses and submits information. Familiarizes with the MCCS Forms Management Program in order to assist the Forms Management Officer with editing, distribution, and maintenance of MCCS originated forms. Assists the Records Manager with the administration of the subordinate MCCS divisions, files documents into SharePoint and MCTILM, and ensures compliance with Marine Corps regulations. Collects, compiles, and organizes information and data to meet administrative requirements. Uses a personal computer to transmit correspondence, create reports, databases, spreadsheets, graphics, slide shows, and presentations.

Qualifications
Three years of experience that demonstrate a broad knowledge of administrative practices and principles. Drafting and routing Naval correspondence for up to General Officer-level signature and review is highly preferred. Skill to organize and coordinate multiple high visibility projects simultaneously. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Knowledge of Marine Corps chain of command and familiarity with the MCCS mission, structure, and core functions of MCCS subordinate divisions preferred. Skill to operate a personal computer and associated peripheral equipment and software. A team player with the ability to work harmoniously with others. Must possess a valid driver’s license.This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
