The Smithsonian Institution is the world’s largest museum, education, and research complex, with 21 museums and the National Zoo.  This position is located Office of Facilities Management and Reliability (OFMR). The Office of Facilities Management and Reliability (OFMR) provides the full range of building services through eight maintenance and operational zones.

Duties

The Automotive (Marine) Mechanic maintains and repairs automotive and marine-based motorized equipment that includes automobiles, boats, trailers, and miscellaneous off-highway equipment that belong to the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) motor fleet.
