You will serve as a BUSINESS OPERATION ADVISOR in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG SYSTEMS COMMAND PAC. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 9.28% will be added to the stated salary.

Duties

You will accurately forecast and adequately justify resources necessary to support clients objectives, and ensure their approval in the budget process. You will perform cross functional analysis required of Public Works Business Line systems. You will provide support to clients by utilizing comprehensive knowledge, expertise and experience with Navy Working Capital Fund and General Fund ? Mission for NAVFAC and reimbursable for Commander Naval Installations Command. You will use in-depth knowledge of the Information Technology and Information Systems relationships and direct connectivity to execution of programs and delivery of PWBL Product and Services to the supported commands.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Supporting the command's policy with regard to development, interpretation and application of business line-related execution issues; 2) Advising on Business Line-specific Information Technology systems; 3) Determining resources necessary to support client objectives and ensure their approval in the budget process; 4) Participating in the collection of business line metrics, the development of policy and processes, and the communication of those policies and procedures to the command to achieve business process consistency across the command; and 5) Assisting in the development of execution and general briefing materials.
