This TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST is located in the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS) G-4/DCSLOG, Logistic Management Office and is part of the CA JFHQ Logistics.

Duties

THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-2130-11, is to manage Department of Defense (DOD) convoys moving within the state; and to plan, organize and direct preparation, maintenance and execution of peacetime and wartime ARNG movement plans for all units within the state.

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-2130-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Experience serving as primary state representative and point of contact for all DOD highway movements; Experience ensuring requirements necessary to execute the plans have been identified and coordinate and ensures proper handling of special and unique movement requirements; Experience developing and publishing procedures for collecting, evaluating and monitoring the information necessary to modify the network databases to meet DOD movement requirements; Experience coordinating changes to priorities and revises pre-planned movement schedules.
