About the Position: This position is for an Administrative Support Clerk, GS-0303-04 with US Army Corps of Engineers, Millwood Tri Lakes Project Office, Dierks Lake Branch, Little Rock District; Located in Dierks, AR. THIS IS A BARGAINING UNIT POSITION.

Duties

You will receive visitors and phone calls, You will maintain project/contract files as necessary. You will maintain files as prescribed by regulations, policies, and procedures. You will order and maintain office supplies. You will sort and distribute mail. You will type a variety of correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, etc., using automated equipment and a variety of software programs. You will prepare travel orders and travel vouchers for all supported employees. You will gather and, input information into an automated financial management system as required by supervisor; and You will work closely with other administrative staff to facilitate the full scope of administrative duties for the staff at the office.

Qualifications

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. For the GS-04 General Experience: One year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as, file maintenance or editing correspondence for grammatical and spelling errors. OR Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.
