Duties

This position is located under the Department of Justice; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives; Office of Management in Martinsburg, West Virginia and Washington, District of Columbia. The Property, Acquisitions and Safety Division (PASD), provides economical acquisition services, real and personal property management, and safety, health, and environmental management to support the full spectrum of ATF operations. The Materiel Management Branch provides oversight and accountability, through delineated stewardship, of personnel and materiel resources for the direct benefit of ATF.

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience: Specialized Experience-GS-13: Applicant must demonstrate one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties: Utilizing a property accountability system to meet the fiscal responsibilities of a program; Applying regulations, policies, laws and procedures which affect logistical operations and property management; AND Working with systems (i.e. property management system and automated inventory management system) to improve or maintain the performance of an organization's property management system. NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Qualification claims will be subject to verification.
