This job opportunity is for an ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC, position description D0872P01, within the AASF of the New Jersey National Guard. Its purpose is to perform work involved in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, calibrating, aligning, and maintaining the complete electronic integrated systems on Army National Guard helicopters.

Qualifications

General Experience: Must have the following experience(s): Removing and replacing aircraft parts, accessories, and components Making adjustments and settings according to established specifications Using hand tools and test equipment Specialized Experience: Must have 18 months of the following experience(s): Installing, adjusting, aligning, troubleshooting Functionally testing the various major and minor mechanical and pneudraulic systems on an aircraft during overhaul or modification Coordinating the work of other mechanics Scheduling maintenance to ensure completion of critical actions and optimum workflow Instructing lower graded mechanics, military and other personnel in the disassembly and re-assembly of crash damaged engines
