This National Guard position is for a TOOLS AND PARTS ATTENDANT, Position Description Number D1228000 and is part of the NJ CSMS 1, National Guard. NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the knowledge and ability to: Use simple hand tools. Follow oral and written instructions. Identify equipment. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Do you have at least 9 months experience: Verifying stock by counting and visually checking contents of containers. Establishing stock location by considering factors of size, shape and weight of items. Completing stock records by showing names, quantities and location. Identifying correct nomenclature and stock number of items in order to locate stock for issue. Performing maintenance such as replacing wooden handles on handsaws. Changing blades on power saws, and greasing or oiling power and hand tools.
